My leadership journey...
Leadership is the strand that runs through my entire life, right the way back to being seven or eight years old.

At primary school, I was the kid who was always creating some form of club and trying to get people to join by creating membership cards, badges, and folders for them.

I then captained various sports teams, signed up for the Cadet Force at 13, and applied to join the British Army as an Officer aged 15. (Although my mum says that I decided to join the army when I was seven!).

Whilst I love reading now, I hated it as a child unless it was a book about the army or leadership. When I won a school prize aged 14, I used the book voucher to buy Eric Langmuir's classic book, Mountain Craft and Leadership. If I'm honest, it's still rare for me to pick up a fiction book. Everything I read is still focused on leadership, psychology, neuroscience, or personal development. And I read a lot.

All of this means that I’m a leadership mentor and performance coach with a unique background. As a former Captain in the British Army, I have led people in life or death situations.

And I'm obsessed with learning for the benefit of myself and the clients I have the privilege to serve.

For the past 10 years, I’ve had the privilege of working with senior leaders to help them lead their teams to great success. I have a track record of helping CEOs move their executive teams from good to great.

The difference between me and other leadership mentors is my personal experience. I’ve led teams on active duty in the army,  on expeditions around the world and in business. My experience literally spans from the battlefield to the boardroom.

I believe that great leaders take care of more than just what happens when they’re at work. I help them to consider all aspects of life to strike the right balance and achieve peak performance, personally and in work.

This toolkit is based on 20+ years of real-world experience and relentless study.

Whilst these courses won't solve all of your leadership challenges and master the entire juggling act of life, it will certainly help you make positive changes.
